The 2025 Napa Valley Koshu opens with lifted aromatics of elder-flower and yuzu, unfolding into nuanced layers of pear, melon, and flinty minerality. On the palate, it is precise and finely structured, with vibrant citrus and orchard fruit framed by a distinct saline, sea spray character. Bright, mouthwatering acidity drives the wine, while a subtle textural weight lends depth through the mid-palate. The finish is long, focused, and mineral-driven, leaving a lingering impression of citrus and saline complexity. A versatile, food-friendly wine, ideal alongside fresh seafood and delicate, umami-forward dishes.
