The 2016 Kazumi Cabernet Sauvignon is the inaugural release of Cabernet Sauvignon for Kazumi Wines. On the nose this wine showcases aromas of blackberry, plum and raspberry as well as earthy notes of tobacco. Digging deeper, one discovers scents of violets and crème brulee as well as savory notes and sage. The wine enters the palate with plush black fruits and has layers of cloves, earth, spice and vanilla. Full bodied with good structure and ripe, silky tannins. All the layers linger for a long finish.
